How to make your car smell good

How to make your car smell good

Cleaning your car is not only important when you are going out to make a good impression, but it is something you should do on a regular basis. In addition to the impression, clean your car on a regular basis will also help in preventing any odors coming from your vehicle. Here are some tips that you can follow to keep your car smelling fresh.

Stop Smoking in Your Car

It is an obvious tip that should not be overlooked. Auto upholstery is famous for sucking smoke and retain the smell for years. Car smokers are more difficult to resell and commands a lower price than the cars of non-smokers. It is also unpleasant for non-smokers to ride in a vehicle smokers. The best way to avoid a lingering odor is to stop smoking in the car at all. At least, roll down at least one window all the way to allow the smoke to exit the vehicle, hopefully before it had too many opportunities to be absorbed by the soft surface of the car's interior. Ideally, this should be done even in cold weather.

Outside of smoke, ash definitely get dropped and ground into the carpet or upholstery seat. Ashtray itself is often a source of terrible smell bad too. In the case of diehards who refuse to stop smoking in their cars, the ashtray should be emptied every day and washed every week. ordinary dust must be a priority for smokers as well. Airing out the car as often as possible by opening the sunroof and rolled down all the windows on dry days can work wonders to prevent the lingering smell of smoke. This is more difficult in the winter months but very important nonetheless.

Wiping the dashboard and doors with car cleaning products

Go to plastic, wood or metal surfaces with a soft damp cloth. Glass and mirrors need to clean too, so versatile spray like Flash Clean & Shine is ideal (check your car manual to ensure safe cleaning solution for use, first).
One way to make your car is to use the scented air freshener. However, many people find the smell too strong and they may even have an allergic reaction in the case of cough or sneeze if they are very sensitive to it. Whatever the case, these are some of the options you use:

spray air fresheners
Hanging air fresheners
Clip-on air fresheners in ventilation
electric air fresheners
air fresheners ioniser

All these options have advantage, sprays will directly cover the bad odor, for example, while the ioniser may be a bit more of an investment but actually clean the air to remove the bad smell completely.
