2015 Nissan Rogue SUV Review far more conservative and somewhat more trendy

The initial thing you'll find out with this current generation of Nissan Rogue is the beautiful styling. Gone are the wild grille treatments, substituted by something a lot more conservative and way more contemporary. The front and rear of the crossover are both more fascinating and modern, and the overall look is one that feels less economical. The interior is good organized and finished in beautiful, higher-quality materials.

Definitely, the Rogue will be desirable if you're considering comfort and available space. Interior surfaces are made of first-class materials that look and feel particularly upscale, specifically on upper trim levels. And as a bit of a rarity in the compact crossover segment, there's optionally available seating for seven. The available third row is small, but overall, storage capacity is high. There are a number of cargo configurations, and with both rear rows folded down, the Rogue matches class leaders with 70 cubic feet of cargo space.

The 2015 Rogue is only obtainable with one engine: a 170-horsepower 2.5-liter 4-cylinder. That powerplant, in turn, only comes with one transmission: a continuously variable automatic. Fuel economy stands at 26 miles per gallon in the city and 33 mpg on the highway for the front-wheel-drive base model or 25 mpg city/32 mpg hwy with all-wheel drive.

One thing that was just a bit disappointing, however, was the driving range. With a small gas tank, the Rogue is simply suited to about 300 miles at a time. On a long road trip this turns into a serious concerns, as maximizing your time on the road is crucial.
