Mazda offers unlimited mileage warranty in Canada

Mazda offers unlimited mileage warranty in Canada

Winter season can be starting to hold areas of Canada, even so our neighbors to the north will likely be able to drive their 2015 Mazda cars and utilities from Vancouver to Montreal with a little more comfort. That's because Mazda Canada is instituting an unlimited mileage warranty for its new models.

Mazda Motor Corp. will offer an unlimited mileage warranty to clients who buy or lease a vehicle in Canada beginning with the 2015 model year, the automaker mentioned today.

Mazda bestowed absolutely no clear answer why exactly the warranty extension is only applicable for the Canadian market. Kory Koreeda, president of Mazda Canada Inc, mentioned of the new warranty, "Mazda's aim is on long-term client satisfaction. By providing our consumers an Unlimited Mileage Warranty, we feel it would increase their ownership experience by soothing worries for instance kilometre limitations, fix costs and resale cost." It is hard to debate with that logic, but why not the US market? Absolutely US Mazda retailers would prefer the extra service work and sales this move may bring.

“Mazda is a company that continuously challenges traditional standards to create improvements. Driving satisfaction is necessary to Mazda; it’s in our DNA, and each car we make. So giving a different kind of warranty that doesn’t limit users from enjoying their car and driving as much, or as far, as they would want is a perfect fit.”

The unlimited mileage warranty stated today by Mazda is special in the industry. Hyundai and Kia provide a basic warranty lasting five years, a period well beyond the regular, as Mitsubishi even offers a much more comprehensive 10-year powertrain warranty, but also all these warranties come with mileage restrictions.
