Mazda gives unlimited mileage warranty in Canada

Mazda gives unlimited mileage warranty in Canada

Winter season may be starting to grasp areas in Canada, even though our neighbors to the north will probably be ready to drive their 2015 Mazda cars and utilities from Vancouver to Montreal with a little more peacefulness. That's because Mazda Canada is instituting an unlimited mileage warranty for the new models.

Mazda Motor Corp. will offer an unlimited mileage warranty to people who order or lease a car in Canada beginning with the 2015 model year, the automaker mentioned today.

Mazda bestowed not a single clear information the reason why the warranty extension is just for the Canadian market. Kory Koreeda, president of Mazda Canada Inc, reported of the new warranty, "Mazda's aim is on long-term client satisfaction. By giving our clients an Unlimited Mileage Warranty, we think it would enhance their ownership experience by alleviating issues for instance kilometre limitations, maintain costs and resale cost." It is challenging to say with that logic, but why not the US market? Clearly US Mazda dealers would love the new service work and sales this move may bring.

“Mazda is a business that always challenges traditional conventions to make improvements. Driving pleasure is crucial to Mazda; it’s in our DNA, and all car we make. So offering an alternate kind of warranty that doesn’t restrict clients from enjoying their vehicle and driving as much, or as far, as they would want is the right fit.”

The unlimited mileage warranty introduced today by Mazda is unique in the industry. Hyundai and Kia have a simple warranty lasting five years, a period well beyond the regular, as Mitsubishi also provides an even more comprehensive 10-year powertrain warranty, even so all these warranties have mileage restrictions.
