2015 Nissan Rogue SUV Review more conservative and extra fashionable

The first thing you'll discover with this current generation of Nissan Rogue is the astonishing styling. Gone are the wild grille treatments, switch by something way more conservative and way more modern. The front and rear of the crossover are both more fascinating and modern, and the overall look is one that feels less economical. The interior is well organized and finished in elegant, higher-quality materials.

Certainly, the Rogue would be desirable if you're focused on comfort and available space. Interior surfaces are produce of top quality materials that look and feel particularly upscale, especially on upper trim levels. And as a bit of a rarity in the compact crossover segment, there's optionally available seating for seven. The available third row is small, but all in all, storage capacity is huge. There are various cargo configurations, and with both rear rows folded down, the Rogue matches class leaders with 70 cubic feet of cargo space.

The 2015 Rogue is only available using one engine: a 170-horsepower 2.5-liter 4-cylinder. That powerplant, in turn, only has one transmission: a continuously variable automatic. Fuel economy stands at 26 miles per gallon in the city and 33 mpg on the highway for the front-wheel-drive base model or 25 mpg city/32 mpg hwy with all-wheel drive.

Something that was slightly disappointing, however, was the driving range. With a smaller gas tank, the Rogue is simply good enough about 300 miles at a time. On a long road trip this becomes a significant disadvantage, as taking advantage of your time on the road is critical.
