Review: New Honda Civic 2015/2016 1.5-liter VTEC Turbo engine, strong, sporty and classy design

Honda revealed a Civic coupe idea Wednesday that wasn't marketed ahead of the New York auto show. The 10th generation of the compact car model include a "dynamic, sporty and sophisticated" design. The next-generation Civic launched Wednesday has impressive creases, a much longer hood, 20-inch wheels and a grand rear spoiler undoubtedly built to jettison the old car's flat appearance and handling.

The new Civic set in showrooms later this year looks nothing like the 2012 or 2013 economy-box versions. Apart from its sportier look, Honda offers far better performance, allowing it to be the first Honda model to offer you its new VTEC turbo engine. It also has a longer wheelbase and longer hood, not to mention 20-inch wheels, lower air intakes and completely new LED headlights.

The 10th-generation appearance abandons the cab-forward design that the Civic has had for a long time to give it a lengthy hood and sense of more power. The new one is a little longer and wider. In-front there are new LED running lights along with back, a new wrap-around taillight design. So far regardless of the changes, the car still has the certain look of a Civic.

The next-generation Civic will certainly offer a 1.5-liter VTEC Turbo engine in North America. Power output wasn’t specified, anyway the Earth Dreams powerplant are going to bolt approximately either a six-speed manual transmission or a CVT. Clearly, this ain’t your standard grocery getter. The new Civic Concept nearly seems like a Type-R itself, with aggressive aerodynamics, a low, wide stance, and a definitely sporty coupe profile.
