2016 Kia Sorento Review roomier and more refined in pretty much every way

The Kia Sorento has been entirely reconditioned and reengineered for 2016. And inside what seems like an only reasonably evolved exterior, it's both substantially roomier and more refined in virtually any way. The Kia Sorento is bigger, much more sophisticated and far better to drive for 2016, defining it as a good-looking alternative to five- and seven-passenger SUVs that were earlier a class above it. Kia's midsize crossover is actually worth a long look.

Kia's 2016 Sorento SUV is about 3 inches longer than its predecessor, on a wheelbase likewise stretched, producing the new Sorento on the the same size as a Ford Edge. There's plenty of room inside to stuff another third-row seat, providing the vehicle nominally a seven-passenger unit, though the third row owns scant leg and knee room, and the seat cushions are nearby the floor and thus difficult.

Driven by a buyer's choice of a 185 hp, 2.4-liter Inline four-cylinder engine with 178 lb-ft of torque, and then a 240 horsepower, 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine providing 260 lb-ft of torque, and finally, a 290 hp 3.3-liter V6 engine that delivers 252 lb-ft of torque, there are indubitably various options to consider. If you need a turbo, arrange to give up seating, as it only accommodates five passengers. If you would like tow up to 5,000-pounds, the 3.3-liter V6 is your go-to suv. If your budget is doing the talking, the 2.4-liter four-cylinder is your alternative.

So far you’ve maybe seen Pierce Brosnan making the “Perfect Getaway” in Kia’s Sorento TV spot that first aired while the Super Bowl in late January. Now may just be your turn to getaway and stop by your regional Kia dealer to look into the all-new 2016 Kia Sorento CUV.
