2016 Kia Sorento Review bigger and more refined in nearly every way

The Kia Sorento has been effectively remodeled and reengineered for 2016. And within just what appears to be an only slightly evolved exterior, it's both much roomier and more refined in virtually every way. The Kia Sorento is bigger, a lot more complex and better to drive for 2016, that make it a fascinating alternative to five- and seven-passenger SUVs that were previously a class above it. Kia's midsize crossover is certainly worth a long look.

Kia's 2016 Sorento SUV is on 3 inches longer as compared with its predecessor, on a wheelbase likewise stretched, generating the new Sorento almost the same size as a Ford Edge. There's sufficient room inside to stuff an alternative third-row seat, producing the vehicle nominally a seven-passenger model, though the third row provides scant leg and knee space, and the seat cushions are close by the floor therefore unpleasant.

Run by a buyer's selection of a 185 hp, 2.4-liter Inline four-cylinder engine with 178 lb-ft of torque, followed by a 240 hp, 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine providing 260 lb-ft of torque, and finally, a 290 horsepower 3.3-liter V6 engine that generates 252 lb-ft of torque, there are without a doubt a variety of options to choose from. If you need a turbo, arrange to give up seating, as it only can hold five passengers. If you need to tow up to 5,000-pounds, the 3.3-liter V6 is your go-to suv. If your funds is doing the talking, the 2.4-liter four-cylinder is your choice.

So far you’ve probably seen Pierce Brosnan making the “Perfect Getaway” in Kia’s Sorento TV spot that first aired on the Super Bowl in late January. Now it might just be your turn to getaway and visit any local Kia dealer to look at the all-new 2016 Kia Sorento CUV.
