Suspension problems, thousands Toyota Camry withdrawn
Toyota Motor said they will recall 361 800 vehicles of various brands of Toyota worldwide. One popular variant to be withdrawn because of damage to the components is the Toyota Camry sedan. Reuters reported that the Camry sedan withdrawn because of problems in the ball joint. Ball Joint is one of the components on the vehicle's suspension serves to control the direction of the wheel. If the component is defective, the vehicle will be difficult to control.
Toyota stated there are 170 thousand Camry sedan to be withdrawn because of the ball joint. According to Toyota, as many as 120 thousand units of Camry will be withdrawn from Europe and the rest of Japan. Besides the Camry sedan, Toyota also will withdraw 105 800 units of multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) Toyota Hiace, Regius Ace, and Dyna.
This large sized minibus pulled back because of a problem in the fuel pipe. Most vehicles will be withdrawn is in Japan. Last withdrawal carried on sedan Toyota Crown and Crown Majesta in Japan. Crown withdrawal is to replace the seat belt. Toyota states has been no case of accident or injury and even death due to problems in the vehicle components.
