2017 Ford GT Review - the second generation of the mid-engine supercar

2017 Ford GT Review - the second generation of the mid-engine supercar

Approximately forty years after the GT40, Ford introduced a modern point of view simply called the Ford GT. The first-generation Ford GT solely lived for two years before its death, but Ford is now introducing a second-generation GT in 2017, and it is the best one yet.

At the 2015 North American Auto Show in Detroit, Ford taken out the curtain off of the all-new 2017 Ford GT. With a super-light carbon fiber and aluminum construction, a 600-plus horsepower, EcoBoost V-6 alongside a race-ready cockpit, the latest Ford GT is without a doubt the top supercar in the history of the Blue Oval brand.

Ford has started the latest GT, an ultra-high-performance supercar that functions as a technology boast for top EcoBoost® performance, aerodynamics and lightweight carbon fiber construction.

When launched, the 2017 Ford GT drawn even more oohs and ahhs than every vehicle on display, no mean feat in a show packed with hot rides such as the long-awaited NSX supercar and a 200-mph Cadillac sedan and the Alfa Romeo 4C Spider.

The minimum weight for the GT Le Mans class, or GTLM, where the Ford GT could possibly be compared by the Ferrari 458, Corvette, Aston Martin, Porsche 911, and Audi R8, is 2745 pounds.
